Awesome Look With Black Wall Clocks

Aside from crimson, black is my most preferred color. Some people would argue that black isn’t a color but it is to me. Most of my belongings are black. I like my coffee black. In cold weather, I like to wear black clothes, black shoes and for the more imaginative readers, not all my underwear is black. Black makes me look handsome and semi-formal. I like black in my tools, gadgets and appliances. I also like black wall clocks in my household. I have one in my living room and one in my bedroom.
There’s a saying that black is beautiful. It is because black looks elegant on its own or it mixes well with any color. Black wall clocks go well with any wall. When my mother was furnishing her newly built house, I got her a large black wall clock with a nice gold pendulum as a present. She put my black wall clock above the mantle and surrounded it with her favorite pictures. Her wall was painted peach but the black wall clock didn’t clash with it at all. From that example, I tell my friends to purchase black wall clocks. Many of them agree with me especially those who can’t make up their minds which color fits their pink or sky blue walls.
I really love looking at the large black wrought iron wall clock in my uncle’s guest room. Its wrought iron frame was shaped like the sun with curly rays and it has a crescent shaped pendulum. It was what inspired me to get black wall clocks in my own home, though mine are not as elaborate. He says his guests feel the same way and new guests start the conversation by commenting about it. It puts the word elegance in his simple guest room with nothing else but its wooden chairs and coffee table. Large wrought iron wall clocks can be purchased at special furnishing stores or specialty clock shops.
Of course, wall clocks need not be all black. The clock face or the numbers surely have to be white. Designed correctly, black and white wall clocks look great as well. It’s like when you’re looking at a yin-yang symbol. The colors feel balanced. Black and White wall clocks are, a bit more stylish than one with a purely black frame. I saw a nice specimen on the net recently which I hoped would be available locally. So if you can’t make up your mind what color wall clock should go ton your wall, add a little elegance with a black wall clock or a little style and artistic flare with a black and white wall clock.
